what this means to me the purplethread was the first club I joined on campus and the only one I felt truly connected to as a freshman. The positive goal of threading good is something that I try to carry out in all aspects of my life, and will continue to carry into my career as a psychologist!
TRICIA FISCHETTO vice president
random fact I am happiest with a book on the beach.
what this means to me I am thrilled to be on the purplethread board so that I can promote a comfortable environment for our members to connect through personal or non-personal experiences and stories. My favorite part about purplethread is that you do not have to go through something terrible in order to have empathy towards others who have. Our meetings encourage honestly and sincerity in a judge-free environment. People often heal themselves by being kind to others.

what this means to me When I arrived at Marist, I knew I wanted to be apart of a club or organization that created positive change. I found what I was looking for in the purplethread. The mission of the club to thread good and create positive change around campus and in local communities is a challenge that i think all should take part in each and every day! As Gandhi once said, "Be the change that you wish to see in the world."
